The artist’s second personal documentary of his caravan painting is a 44-page A5 edition featuring Sickboy’s latest activities, typically involving “fleeing travellers’ yards with Pit Bulls nipping at my ankles.

Carafanzine #2offers a comprehensive collection of photographic oddments produced for the first time through the non-futuristic print method of Risograph.

Presented in glorious fluorescent pink and black, each ‘Carafanzine #2’ is uniquely hand-finished with drawings, and comes lovingly-packaged with a caravan sticker sheet, and five x A5Risograph prints.

Priced £39.00, the ‘zines are in a limited edition of 60 and are banded, wax sealed with a temple logo, edition-numbered, signed and hand-finished by the artist.

Inspired by Logan Walters’ redesign of Wu-Tang Clan album covers in the style of classic Blue Note Records album covers, Gerald Watson teamed up with his friend DJ 2-Tone Jones to create Shaolin Jazz – the 37th Chamber – a Wu-Tang-meets-jazz mixtape which matches vocals from the Shaolin members with sounds from classic jazz records. NPR has published an extensive article on the Wu-Tang Clan/jazz music symbiosis which you should not miss. Watch the visual summary of the project above and download the entire mixtape here.

Street Fighter Vs Kidrobot available 7th July

'Capcom’s Street Fighter, now in its umpteenth iteration with over 29 million copies sold worldwide, teams up with Kidrobot to take you back to the arcade with the ones who kick-started it all – Ryu, Ken, Chun Li and, of course Blanka, the wild man. All 12 of the original World Warriors, including the Psycho-Powered chase, are blind boxed and stylized in 3-inch vinyl. Gaming’s best known fighters, each with their own unique fighting style, bring you back to your old pizzeria face-offs. Figures feature articulated arms just itching to deliver that final sonic boom. Available beginning July 7 for $9.95/blind box (£7.90 UK; 9.20€ Europe). Hadouken!'

Street of Crocodiles

A man closes up a lecture hall; he reaches into a box and snips the string holding a gaunt puppet. Released, the puppet warily explores the darkened rooms about him. The desolate ambiance and haunting musical score convey a sense of isolation and futility, forcing the viewer into immediate identification with the mute protagonist as he explores a realm of mechanical realities and manufactured pleasures. As the protagonist tries to conform, or is forced into assimilation, the film slowly reveals how unfulfilling the surroundings actually are. Life and vitality are gradually stripped away to reveal the passionless cycle of existence.

Terry Gilliam selected Street of Crocodiles as one of the top ten best animated films of all time.

Classic sports posters from the 80's by John and Tock Costacos, showing at Salson94

Salon 94 is pleased to present For the Kids, an exhibition of sports lithographs from the archives of John and

Tock Costacos. Opening on Thursday, June 23rd 2011 at Salon 94 Freemans and curated by Fabienne

Stephan and Adam Shopkorn, the show serves as a mini-retrospective of early Costacos posters from 1986

through 1990.

The blurb:

'The Stussy Summer 2011 collection includes a series of t-shirts by animator JJ Villard. A graduate of CalArts, JJ has worked on huge Hollywood films such as Shrek the Third, Shrek Forever After and Monsters vs. Aliens before landing his current gig at Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. JJ’s personal work is drastically different from the high profile projects he typically works on. Inspired by 80′s pop culture, horror films and things of a darker nature, JJ used the idea of a sketchbook to inspire his tees. Using pens, pencils and markers, he created a series of t-shirts that capture the rawness of what a sketchbook is all about.'

Double limited-edition Space Invaders watches by Romain Jerome

By agreement with Taito Corporation, RJ-Romain Jerome is paying tribute to late-20th century pop culture by launching a double limited-edition of Space Invaders watches. The two 78-piece limited series (in allusion to the year they were launched, 1978) are distinguished by their dial. One is composed of three layers of pixelated and shotpeened dies featuring hand-drawn file strokes. The 3.5 mm-sized Space Invaders are lacquered in different colors (« day » version) or coated with Superluminova (« night » version), each individually machined and hand-applied. The case, in black PVD stainless steel, measures 46mm. It has a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 30 meters. Movement is the Swiss automatic Romain Jerome caliber RJ001-A with 23 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours.
