Sickboy: Wheelie Bin / Edition: 20
Sickboy has announced the release of a limited edition collection of original, hand-painted replicas of his most iconic street work — the wheelie bin. Based on a decade’s worth of the artist’s street activities, each replica model is an exact reproduction of the original work as it appeared on real wheelie bins worldwide. Produced in red and bearing the artist’s signature Temple logo in McDonald’s colours, these replicas offer a rare chance to own a piece of Sickboy’s street art history. Produced in a highly-collectable run of 20, each boxed wheelie bin has been individually hand-painted by Sickboy and is presented with a signed and dated photo-print of its on-street counterpart.
Sickboy said: “Wheelie bins are my favourite surface to paint on. The shape of the temple fits perfectly, and the classic red issue colour of the bins was like a gift from above. Trying to paint something pretty on a vestibule for public waste was what drove the obsession. Over the years I have amassed an interesting collection of photographic documentation of my wheelie bin work, and the best of these have been revisited for this project.”
Price: £125.00 + P&P, Pre-order below now. Please allow up to 28 days from the December 7, 2010 release date to receive your goods.
Each box contains an individually hand-painted Sickboy wheelie bin with working lid, flap and wheels, plus a signed photo-print and

Please bear with us, this one's got a bit of a back story...
Many of you will know that Rowdy's house/studio burnt down earlier in the year with the loss of literally everything he owned. This, understandably, hit him hard, and we ran an auction (The Rooftop Burner Fund) for him to help him get back on his feet. During that auction Rowdy sent us an email thanking us and saying that because of the terrific response to the auction he was start making art again, and he sent us two drawings he'd done to illustrate this. We instantly fell in love with the drawings and knew something had to be done with them. So we turned them both into screen prints, the first 'Boxing Fox' was given away as a thank you to all the artists who had donated to the auction and the second we though just had to be Rowdy's comeback release.
So... back on track and making killer work after his studio burnt to the ground, Rowdy returns with this vibrant three colour screen print. Printed by Bristol's infamous Screen One screen printers and limited to only 39, Neon Nitelife features a marauding gang of classic Rowdy characters stalking the city streets at night.
And words from the man himself:
''Once I got back on it after the fire, working on paper seemed to be a very practical low tech way of producing work whilst I was wandering round Europe, often working out the back of a van, sometimes up a mountain, on a cliff edge or in a quarry. As a result my new pieces have taken on a transient quality, for example, what may have started on a rooftop in Barcelona could then only be completed at a gatecrashed artist residency near Turin. ''
3 colour screen print
Double pulled oil based inks
50 x 70cm
300gsm white acid free board V art paper
Signed and numbered edition of 39
£65 + p&p
It will be on general release on our site from 2pm Thursday 25th November fromwww.stealfromwork.org/Rowdy

Can you please sign the petition to save the tigers by following this link:
Coming up is the first ‘tiger conference’ to help come up with a coherent and collaborative effort to help to save the tigers from extinction and the WWF wants to be able to present their petition at this conference with as many signatures as possible. It only takes a minute to sign so please do so.
If you don’t believe how important this is then here are some facts that I got in a recent email:
1. The global tiger population has plummeted by over 95% in the last 100 years – from 100,000 a century ago to as few as 3,200 and falling today. There are reportedly fewer than 120 wild tigers left in Nepal – and probably less than 30 in all of China.
2. Tigers are being robbed of their natural habitat by human population growth and the demands of the lumber and palm oil industries. Tigers occupy 40% less territory than they did 10 years ago and just 7% of their original range.
3. Three of the nine original tiger sub-species became extinct in the 20th century. Many scientists believe another, the South China tiger, is extinct in the wild.
4. One of the many threats to the tiger is the continued illegal demand for tiger body parts in potions or as curios. Bottles of tiger bone wine – made by soaking tiger carcasses in liquor –fetch a high price. Poachers hawk tiger pelts on the black market for around $10,000.
5. Poaching of endangered animals including tigers is now the third largest form of organised crime on the planet, after the arms and drugs trades.World wild tiger numbers are at their lowest levels ever. But tigers can thrive in the wild again given the right conditions. Which is why we’re determined to double their numbers by 2022 – the next Year of the Tiger
